Went out to the woods just before sunrise with the intention of taking one more doe before the rut gets going as well as to try out the RAGE broadhead for the 1st time. I have always used the muzzy 3&4 blade and have taken a good number of deer using them.. with that said the deer I have taken have been very well placed shots with most being pass threw’s but almost all the blood trails were poor to fair at best, especially the point of impact I would normally not find blood till around 10 yards or so after the shot.. to many times I have been down on my knees looking for blood after a good hit… So I tried the rage and lets just say the muzzys are going in the trash. The deer ran about 20 yards and buckled and was down for the count within seconds. The blood trail was nothing short of a blood bath from the point of impact to the point of dropping. Pic #2 is the entrance pic 3 is the exit

As much as some disagree I agree 100% the only deer I have lost with a rage I saw on his feet 2 months later and that was due to a poor shot placement through his brisket in front of the shoulder blade. Other then that I can say a couple shots I put were fair at best and the deer still expired not far from impact with easy blood to follow! Nice shot and good eating right there for ya!

I started using Rage 2 blades 4 seasons ago and I have never even considered going back to a fixed blade. All the deer were easily recovered. Blood trails are more like a blood bath!

Congrats on your deer> to many more
