Does outside of the”Ramada Inn”

Here’s a quick vid from Saturday night during the WI Youth Deer hunt. We had about 15mph north winds blowing and a lot of foliage still on the trees. I would have liked to be positioned in the woods, as a few mature bucks have been visiting this corner just after dark and just before sunrise. Given the wind bock of the tree line and this stand enabled us to be well down wind of any feeding deer, I thought Olivia would have the best chance of seeing a nice buck here. Unfortunately, she only had the 3 hours Saturday evening and filmed these does. We had to leave early Sunday morning for her Soccer game, which meant she couldn’t get to hunt. I sat out at the field edge having coffee in the morning and watched 4 nice bucks (including Gramps the Giant) walk across the field. Heart breaking that she didn’t have time to harvest one that could have been her buck of a lifetime. Hopefully she gets the next opportunity when she’s out again.
