Hey guys I have been going on this site for the past few years, but I just finally decided to become a member. I was just curious to get some of your guys’ input as to how old you think these bucks are. The first 3 pictures are of a main frame 8 with a crab claw of the left side and I judged him at 3.5 years. The other buck is a main frame 10 with an extra point on his right side along with what looks like maybe the start of some double brows. I’m not to sure about an age on him but I think he’s 3.5 too.
    Thanks Guys,
    Jordan

They look AWESOME to me! Welcome to IDO!

As for age, I would guess 3.5 to 4.5 by what I can tell. Very nice deer! Good luck this fall.

I agree with John. I think you have one that’s 3.5 and a 4.5 y/o>>>looking at the pix, one of the deer has a swayed back behind the front shoulders and a bit of a ‘pot’ belly. The other deer has a good straight back and no belly hanging…
The way I see, that is a bad problem to have I think we all wish we had that problem Good luck* If the land is all yours, give ’em another year and shoot a doe

I would also have to agree that these two deer are a year apart, likely a 3.5 and 4.5.

    Welcome aboard to IDO!

I agree on the 3.5 and might venture to think up to 5.5 on the other. As stated, a great problem to have!

Thanks for your input guys. I would love to let these deer walk one more year, because I have the same two on camera last year and they really blew up this year, but these deer on the smallest piece that I hunt on so it would be hard to let them go knowing someone else might shoot them. My grandpa has been sneaking in to my stand and he has seen the bigger one and he said the picture didn’t do the deer justice but who knows. It got him pretty excited so now I have to keep him out of there, but it would be awesome to let him shoot one of them come November.

    JB,
Just unscrew the last 3 tree step spikes and that’ll keep grandpa outta your stand
