    Official Rules

    1. The 2012 Harvest Photo contest is open to any registered IDOhunting.com member. It’s free to register, Register Here .

    2. Each entry must include a successful harvest photo of either a whitetail or mule deer.

    3. You may only enter one photo per harvest, multiple succesful harvests ARE allowed.

    4. All photos are going to be judged on quality, background, and creativity.

    5. Only adult deer will count (no fawns) except for youth AGE 16 AND UNDER.

    6. All animals must be taken legally and ethically.

    7. Only harvest photos from the 2012 hunting season are eligible, each submitted photo must include the harvest date.

    8. IDO will only accept pics taken in the field before the deer is field dressed.

    9. We encourage having your weapon in the photo that you harvested that animal with.

    10. All entries must be submitted with a photograph of the deer on the IDO Deer harvest photo contest thread. The deadline for entries is January 5th, 2013.

    11. The IDO staff will vote for the top 5 photos. Once selected, the top 5 will be published for all IDO members to vote for a winner. In the event of a tie, IDO staff will then vote on the final two to determine a tie breaker.

    12. The winner will recieve the prize pack described below. IDO Management will contact the lucky winner right after the annoucement to arrange delivery details.

    13. IDOHunting.com staff members are encouraged to participate, but will not be eligible for the final top 5 voting.

    In an effort to keep this thread as clean as possible, please enter only your photo here along with your harvest date.

    One point of clarification. Only one photo per harvested deer may be entered. However, if you shoot 5 deer, you can enter 1 photo for each deer harvested.

    Fun in the snow. Harvested this SD doe December 22 with my TC Omega at about 18 yards. She was the lead doe of a group of about 20 deer. It was too hard to count. There were deer and turkeys running everywhere. After they got by me, they made their way up the trail and my friend was able to take one with her bow. Nothing better than spending time with family and friends around the holidays. This is by far my favorite hunt of the year.
