    The summer pick is the best I have so far. The other is one of the last I got of Trip last year but I saw a neighbors pic of him with his antlers on March 26th. Still hoping he’s around. I think the older they get the less they move at least from their bedrooms.

    I’ve read that too, the older they get, the smaller their comfort zone becomes. Hopefully his opens up and he shows for the rut!

    Speaking of a deers home range… I read in my QDM magazine a few years ago about a study they conducted on their home range. If I remember correctly, once a deer is 5 or 6 it’s core home range is about 50 acres. But will visit more at different times of the year. I will look through my archives and see if I can find it and correct myself later.
