    Tuffy holds 15

I spend more of my boat time with a 7-7.5 foot rod than with any other. The fast action which allows me to detect those very light biters before they feel me is a real asset to my style of finesse fishing. Thanks for bringing these rods to our attention Dean…now I only wish my rod locker had more than 12 slots.

Settled in on the edge of the hay field. Lots of good does on the card from the past couple evenings. Here’s hoping one slips up. Good luck to all who are out tonight!

I had a nice doe come by this am 20 yds, clear broadside shot, didn’t take it as my property I’m hunting this weekend is “hunter choice” this year. Bummer!

I was not able to get out for my first sit of the year untill today. (Sunday) I did not see anything this morning but had a small 8 point come by about 6pm tonight at 12.5 yards. The first pic is the view from my stand the second pic is from my trail cam as he went by. Pic 3 & 4 are of the same buck passing by one of my stands a few min earlier on the other end of the field. It was just nice to get out today and see something tonight. I also got a short video clip that I will try and post here a little later tonight.

Had a great sit last night! Watched two little bucks spar quite a bit then a little fork decided to join the party! After the fighting a shooter showed up and pushed them right outta the field! Also had two does eating acorns for 15 min at bout 8 yds while the fighting was going on! Great night!

Set up in mn between 2 corn fields on a clover and oat plot! My only problem might be there is too much food in the area . Time will tell…

Here are a few pics with the view from the stand I sat in this morning, did not see any deer this time. After this mornings hunt I checked a few of my cams and turns out the buck that passed by my stand last night also passed by one of my other stands at the other end of the field, I added the pics to that post from last night above.

Me and my son just got in our stands, the squirrels are moving, hopefully the deer do to. A little more cloud cover would be nice
