Sad day in my deer woods

Alot of wolf pics in the last year around my area and far from “up north”

I understand your frustrations we have weekly pics of several wolves on every camera pull our deer #’s in aitkin county have been dropping at an alarming rate. some of which i’m sure is wolf related.

Well with the wolf hunt coming up you sure have prime location to harvest such an animal!

Are you willing to let other ppl hunt for a wolf?

I hear ya! Wolves here in Montana are decimating our ungulate populations. We had our first hunting season on wolves last year, but even with that their populations still increased

I applied for the southern unit. If I get drawn, I’d be happy to come harvest one of these beasts for you.

Let’s not kid ourselves – Taking a couple hundred animals will have no impact on the population. They’re starting off with such low numbers for political/public image reasons. Within a few years (hopefully), they’ll have the nerve to expand the harvest to a meaningful amount.
