These are my brother in law’s mules from the last few years. I’m still waiting to draw a tag for this unit in Colorado…..I can assure you that when Olivia or I get a tag, this hunt will be on camera!
I will go ahead and say your Brother In Law has excellent taste in mule deer

Wow!! That gets me pumped for this fall! If you dont mind me asking what area is your brother in law in. I am going back to unit 5 for mulies and elk for second rifle season and I am pumped this is my first time going out of state hunting with my dad in a long time. 
I am not at liberty to give the unit number – sworn secrecy to my Brother in law. He’s put years into scouting and came across a gem of an area. Him and I are like brothers, yet he only gave me the unit number to apply for last year. That’s almost 10 years after he found it. Thank you for understanding.

Also, western hunters are a bit different than their eastern counterparts I have found. Since most hunt public in the west, you will get very little out of the hunter, and rightfully so. In the midwest? I hear far too many people bragging about what they have shot, seen, or believe is on their land, pretty much pointing out the farm.
I bet he hunts west of I-25
