Man! That is a slug of lakes! The 1 foot contours at first I thought I would never see an interest in…but after using them, I really like them!

I see Lakemaster is up to 130 lakes with 1′ contours now. I can remember when it was Mille Lacs, Cass, White Bear and a couple other lakes I hadn’t ever fished. Now it is getting hard to find even a medium sized lake in MN that doesn’t have the 1 foot contours.

Forgive me if I’m wrong……. But I don’t see pool 3 on there as a map at all. I thought someone said last week that their chip had it on there.Do I just not see it?

If I understand this correctly, this is for your computer right? I have the 07 chip, but can a guy save different lakes to a mmc card & use it in your lowrance?

Chap, Pool 3 is on there it’s not mapped. Basically the chips will show wing dams and the names of lakes on p3.

I don’t know how any company could sell an accurate map of p3 thinking of the stages of the river. Not to mention the filling in of areas with sand.

The river is always changing. We saw that with the closing of P3 to barge traffic this year.

Mark, you are correct, it is software. It’s great for nameing waypoints that I’ve made using a gps…typing is faster than scrolling up and down to name them on a gps. I have a larger view of the area on a computer than any gps units. It’s fantastic for making routes!

I fish the same water 99% of the time and the software is used frequently. It’s a no brainer when fishing new water!

I have 4 diff cams out and all of them are getting pics of deer. However, 1of the spots hasn’t had a buck on it since early Dec and I started putting feed in front of it after Jan 1. 2 of the spots are getting pounded and bucks are all over the place, I think I can identify 14-15 diff ones between those cams The last spot has only had (2) 1.5 yr olds on cam.

What do some of you use to get bucks to come in to your feeding stations?

I have a spot where I see a ton of bucks during the summer and hunting season, but once it gets close to January I hardly ever see any bucks, and rarely find a shed. But there are a ton of does that stay there. I believe the bucks move to a different spot so they dont have to compete with all of the does for food during the winter. I put corn out in this area like you, but it doesnt matter the bucks just wont stay. Have you found many sheds in this area in the past?
