    Any of you die hard’s been hunting mornings at all? Only been out evening hunting during the muzzle season and one time with the bow deer movement has been great but no bucks showing during shooting light. The does I’ve been seeing are making it out to open fields between 2:30 and 4:00.

    I hunted a lot of morning during muzzle loader and the doe only hunt. I had some of my best sits of the year. The key was to be back off the food source on the sunny side of the ridge. Most of the deer were not showing up until 8:30 or later. My guess is they were moving past me once the sun hit my side of the ridge. I had two shooters within 15 yds during the doe only hunt. Too bad they couldn’t have shown up during muzzy season!

    Jigger I believe the full moon may have also had something to do with what time you saw deer.
