Decent 130″ to 140″ Mitch, nice size to him too. Is that a tine sticking out of his eye socket, looks like it could be

I know its no holds barred when alot of bucks fight over a doe, theres been alot of pictures over the years of broken tines sticking out of just about any part of thier bodys. When they fight its for keeps.

Isn’t this the Buck the Banks boys were after for a few years – I believe that tine is growing out of his eye socket, not from another buck. Great Buck!

Now that you say that it does look like its growing out of the skull behind the eye socket.

There is allot of history behind that great Buck. Congrats to the lucky hunter I know a non member that claims to have quite a few pics of this buck.

That is “Patch”! He has been missing that eye since I first got pictures of him over 3 years ago and know of another pic a year earlier that showed him missing that eye. He was on the downhill slide this year and is 7.5 or 8.5 years old.
Congrats to the hunter! I guess its time to relunctantly move on and find the next “target” buck. Story and history to follow including pics and video!

I was the lucky hunter who shot that Buck. I was actually hunting another Buck out on 17 in cannon falls, and I had never even seen this Buck or heard anything about it. I was in the stand for about 5 minutes and this bad boy was trotting behind a fawn I made a noise so he stopped and looked at about 20 yards and I got my shot.
