My NW Minnesota Hunt

I hunted hard for 4 days in NW MN. What did I see more of?

I will try to type up a little recap when I have more time. I did see 1 deer but had no shot. I just had to throw out the whole wolf thing to stir the pot. I did hear 1 pack of wolves while walking to the wheeler after an evening sit, but don’t know what the answer is for sure. i know we have a lack of food for the deer on the property, and hope to fix that this next year. The property I hunt is around 1000 acres and a friends farm. Right now the only food they have is a hay field but that usually gets cut realy short in the fall. Ideally I would love to plant a 100 acre corn field and leave it all winter and add some supplemental plots, but the funds aren’t there right now. also, most of the open space is planted in CRP and that pays for the land taxes. My plan this winter is to pull up the property on google earth and write up a good plot plan and present it to the other hunters. I’ll add more later.
