another year with no deer

Thought for sure today would be the day I kill my first deer, went out around 5:30am, sat until 10:30, 11am and nothing. not even a fawn out in the distance. went back out at 3pm, sat in a different spot and I heard a lot of movement but still no deer…Heading to Florida tomorrow for 2 months for work so this season is over. Going to lease some land next year and go all out. white tails of 2012 look out. I am coming with vengeance!!!!

I hope ’12 is that magical year for you. Seems like some years you can do everything right, and that one encounter just doesn’t happen…then some years will give you the memories of a lifetime!
