Congrats to my son

    Congrats to my son on his first deer kill his first year with a gun. He managed to take this 8 pointer opening morning. Unofficial score of 130. Impressive for his first. I remember my first, nothing to brag about. And I know he was excited. We saw the monster opening day also. He asked me after seeing it “Dad, why am I shaking? I didn’t even shoot at it.” I told him that’s the reason we keep going out even year. If our hearts didn’t race at the sight of such a magnificent animal, we’d probably just stay home.

    Congrats! nicely done. I still get buck fever regardless of the animal, that’s what drives me.
