Texas Deer

I got this e-mail this morning from a coworker that knows the person in the pic. This is what they had to say.

“This deer is recovering at the vet. in Texas. The deer got tangled in the fence and broke his neck.”

Incredible. The last time I heard of something like this was a number of years ago when a big buck got tangled in the webbing of the batting cage at the Dakota Elem. School.

Just goes to show that sportsman will help an animal just as much as taking one for food. Nice buck

I got those pictures forwarded to me before last years gun season too. Not sure how old they are but they seem to resurface around the gun season every year.

I thought of that when I posted those pics. You never really know how old some stuff is when you get it. This was the first time I’ve seen these pics. Although it is always nice to see stuff like that happen. That deer could have been easily put down. Do you think peta contributed to the rehab. for this deer? Doubtful.

I think I would fall out of my tree stand if I ever had a deer like that come into range.

A guy has to wonder if measurements were taken while the deer was sedated. If not, what a shame. That deer has some huge mass.

I don’t care how old they are, I still like seeing pictures of big bucks. I think people circulate that stuff around the season to get eveyones blood pumping. Works for me!!

If I saw a deer like that under my stand, I’d have to stop at the house to change my shorts before going to register it. Unbelievable.
