This deer was arrowed down in Iowa. Green scored 220+.

    Congrats to this hunter!

What does a person go through when seeing such an animal? I have to believe there is a numbness involved. I guess that’s why we practice so it becomes second nature. I don’t know if I could talk myself through the shot. Congrats to that guy!

Look at the cape on that thing! The color and condition alone is something else!

That is just damn near UN-believeable!
Congrats to that man who musta had quite the knot in his stomach while waiting for that shot to come to fruition.

I think you hope he just appears and make the shot…. No kidding. I’m trying to prod the shooter into joining IDO and sharing his story. I know we would all love to hear it.

Some non typicals are knarly, uneven racks etc. but this has everything it takes to make an impressive untypical rack, darned nice buck, hes one of the nicest ones I’ve seen come from here. Id like to know what county he got it in Kooty, do you know that? Id like to know if he got it somewhere around me, N.E. or southern Iowa

You were right, I did know it was hilly, and I understand on the other thing too… Just found out I have a weasel hunting in my store today and he is just about white!!!

Not many weasels down here but theres a few, lots of mink. Whats he doing living in your store, chaseing mice? What are you going to do about him. I can see Mark now rocking back and forth in his rocking chair with a 12 gauge after store hours lol

If he gets any or all of the chippies or red squirrels in here, he is welcome any time!!! Once there is no food left I think he will be on his way.
