I know its early in the week but I’m more excited than usual this year. Got a great private spot by Spooner and really like my stand placement. Good luck.

I am very excited as well!! I will be sitting on the same stand that I sat in when my hunting career began in 1972. That stand has produced literally dozens of bucks over the years for everyone that has hunted it. I have not hunted that zone since I moved to the Rice Lake area in 1996. It will be great to get together with the old gang and do a traditional deer camp again!!

I might get out around Hudson. I might end up in the blind on the River chasing ducks. Don’t know yet. I will just have to check the weather forecast later in the week.

I’ll be 17ft up, on the hill right behind the 4-Mile in Fountain City. I guess it’s safe to say I’ll be ‘chasing tail’ from sun-up until about 2AM!!!

I’ll be up in the Danbury area. Although I am fortunate enough spend alot of time in the woods each fall, this is by far my favorite weekend. Spending time hunting with the family, especially my 83 year old grandfather is something that I will forever cherish.

This year will be a little different however as i’m finally able to carry the bow this year during the gun season! Stands have been hung and left alone since August so i’m looking forward to a great weekend.

I’ll show my ugly mug out there in an attempt to scare everything to my daughter. Fronts coming through Friday night/Sat morning – don’t know what the wind direction will be yet, but, 30 to 50% chance of rain on Sat and Sun I’ve shot/guided more big bucks in the rain than any other weather condition

I’ll be starting out in the Marshfield area as always hunting with my 83 year old father, two brothers and maybe 2 nephews… Generally hunt there until around noon and then head for Minocqua… Last several years turned right around and headed back down to the river to hunt ducks, but going to leave them alone this year… so hoping to spend a bunch of time out in the big woods chasing deers or fishing…

    Maybe even Ice Fishing!!!

Be up at Fountain City again like always. Likely be about 1/4 mile from where the big guy is shot by someone else, like always.
