This picture was taken last Thursday at 6PM. How am I gonna sleep the next two nights. Can’t hunt until Wednesday. I might have to get very ill the next few days. My #1 spot that I haven’t been able to hunt due to the wind.

Go get him. I know what you mean. I wish I didn’t screw my shoulder up this last winter. I can’t even pull the bow back completely, let alone keep it drawn without the pain killing me. Just look what is tormenting me at my favorite spot at 8:30 in the morning.

I think mother nature hates me. They are predicting the exact wrong wind for this spot Thursday – Sunday. This is a ground blind only spot. I’m still planning my attack as we have a pretty good idea where he is coming from. The current blind has been up for a month and he doesn’t care one bit it’s there 22 yards from where this photo was taken. I’m concerned how he will react if I have to move the blind.
Well, the over thinking has started. I’m sure you guys will see much more of it over the next 36 hours….

Ok, I got resized now. It should look “normal”. We allow a max of 525 wide pixels for any photo links. Otherwise the pages start to stretch.
I was able to squeeze my work into two days, so I’ll be in the stand for the next 5 days. One more sleepless night!

The good news is, I’m getting the wind direction I wanted tomorrow. NNW. At 20-30 mph. Mother nature and I are not on the same page!! 
Might be a good day to test my ninja skills and do some spot and stalk in the CRP.
The same night the buck above showed, so did this guy 20 yards from our tower blind. I should have been here last Thursday….
