This 10 point was the first of 6 deer to come to the beans Wednesday and presented me with a 30 yard shot. He only made it 40 yards after receiving the 100 grain Muzzy to the boiler room. Who says I should get rid of my 1985 PSE that weighs a ton? I feel bad that my son hadn’t been able to hunt because he couldn’t stop caughing and he had a 102 fever because I told him this was the place to be so being he couldn’t hunt the best stand of the night I did the only thing a good dad would do and cleared a spot on the ground and made like a brush pile and did the deed. I had my doubts after hurting my shoulder 3 weeks ago playing football and was unable to shoot my usual 70 pounds and having to turn my bow down to 60 and only being able to shoot 2 arrows on Saturday because I just couldn’t draw the bow anymore. I refused to stay out of the woods on the best week of the year with the bow.
