Mathew’s LX vs AR 34 vs. ???? Need a new bow!

While pulling my bow (Marting Firecat 12 years old) up into the stand Saturday morning I noticed the lower limb is delaminating. After further examination, the lower limb is warped and starting to split. So went to a few bow shops in the area, shot a few bows and narrowed it down to a Mathews LX or a AR 34. Leaning toward the AR 34 due to cost, both shot well, but the AR 34 felt a little better at the grip. Anyone have any comments on either bow or another bow. Also I want to switch to the Whisker Biscuit rest, any pros or cons? Need help, the rut is kicking in.

I can’t tell you much about the bow’s as I haven’t shot either one of them. But the wisker bicuit is great I bought the one with the cut out on it this year and it’s great. Very quiet, and the arrows fly true out of it. I strongly recommend it.

For about the same price you are better off with some sort of free flight arrow rest. For the same price as a whisker biskit, you could get a quick tune free flight arrow rest system, arrows shoot very very accurate out of this system. I have shot very well with it and have already stuck a deer this year that made it 35 yards before keeling over to my mq1 with the free flight system.

Jeff can you did up a pic of a free flight arrow rest so we can compare it to a whisker biskit. I just bought a whisker biskit and I love mine.

If you haven’t done so already, check out the new Bowtech bows. I bought a Blackhawk this spring and it has been a fine bow. The web adress is http://www.bowtecharchery.com
    Good luck with your purchase.
