Just wondering if any of you guys think it might be too early to throw up a decoy….I was planning on doing it this weekend with my buck decoy, or a buck with a bedded doe, but now I’m getting nervous. Any suggestions?

I wish I had mine with me in Mn. I’d be using it this weekend.

I think people either love or hate decoys though. We’ve had pretty good success with them out west, so we use them a lot during rut.

Picture isn’t the greatest but Monday night a friend sent me this pic. He said two 6 points came in and this one got friendly with his buck decoy for over a minute. Even after he collapsed the decoy he was still trying to get a piece

Forgot to add this pic too. Buddy shot this Saturday morning. Pulled in 200yds to a decoy. It snort- wheezed at the decoy and he shot it then it proceeded to attack his decoy.

Nice buck congrats to your buddy. Was it a doe decoy? I could see a wisconsin buck attacking a doe decoy. And we already seen pics of how they like mr buck

October 29 of last year is the last time my buck decoy was used. It was that day that an angry 2 1/2 yr old 8 pt decided to disassemble it. One leg was crumbled near the knee and the right antler will not stay in tight anymore…
