First Bow Deer.

    Finally bagged my first archery deer. Took a decent sized fawn earlier this week. I judged it as a small doe because it was with a much smaller fawn. Oh well though, I made a nicely placed pass through shot and the blood runner at the tip did its job flawlessly. No regrets on my part and it was a quick kill. She made it about 70 yards and piled up. I didnt get any pics with it since I was alone. I do have one pic of her I can put up when I get home.

    Congrats on your 1st bow kill! I also had my 1st bow kill last monday(doe). That experience was so much more memorable for me than all the rifle kills over the years. Enjoy the moment. p.s once I tasted that tender meat again, I’m on a mission for another doe.
