I have not fished it, but can confirm the water level is very low. Let me know how you do, this is right out my back door. It sounds like a relatively fun and easy trip.

When the water levels are low fish should be pretty concentrated in the deeper pools along the way.

I’ll take another look tonight as I cross, but I’d say it’s floatable, but you may have to drag a few spots.

I did a float the other night at like 12pm from rockford to hanover. Hit the bottom most of the time it seemed. Couple spots it got really deep but for the most part was very shallow. I took us to like 3 or 4 in the morning to float from rockford to hanover, with paddeling involved.

We drug raps and also spinner but I was assuming it was to late to find either a bass bite or a walleye bite which i think only accounts for 2% of the fish in the crow. DNR says that most of the percentage is redhorse and suckers. 6% is made up of channel cats. I don’t know how recent these numbers are.

Would it be more benefical to float down the rum river? I heard they have a pretty good population of smallies? The other question is the only real place I can think of to launch from the rum is in princeton, and if I think im correct that is about 80miles of river to dayton, which couldn’t be completed in one day? Anyone know?

    That’s my two cents.

Any relation to this guy? We thought bad genetics but it turns out his brow had grown out of his head because we found where his main beam broke off.

I can’t wait for our cameras to start showing more deer. They were pretty desolate last weekend.
