Set up on the same trail as yesterday. Between bedding and my destination plot. 3-4″ of fresh snow and cold. Should be a great night!

South wind 0 to 5 mph my butt! I have no idea how fast the wind is blowing but it sure would make a long shot interesting! That is if I would see something bigger than the two basket racks I seen a while ago.

Rattled in a really nice 10pt at 3:57. Came on a string for 280 yards stopped at 20 yds turned broadside and I never pulled the trigger. I took the safety off 3 times and put pressure to the trigger once. My body said YES! My mind said NO! By far the nicest buck I have ever let walk. Tomorrow is another day.

Haven’t seen a deer since 11:00. Sun felt good though… Made me sleepy which could play a part as to why I did not see any deer yet.

Only one buck and a few does so far. I don’t think the fourwheeler running around to the north of me is helping!

Warm and windy Perfect conditions for the deer to survive I wish I would have seen the coyote that ran across the CRP a little sooner I would have loved to sling some lead in his direction

Today would have been a great day to sit around, eat, drink, and take a nap! Instead, I’m sitting in a tree sweating my butt off! One fawn and one basket rack bedded below me since a little after sun up. Guess I’m gonna have to sit here till dark. … Yes I have a hunting problem.

It’s not a problem if you don’t admit it….Good luck. I’m making cheezy dip, chex mix putting up Xmas stuff. I’d rather be hunting.

One doe all by herself tonight. If I could have gotten on her sooner, I would be grilling fresh loin tonight.

The lack of daylight Acton has me being more aggressive than normal. I’m set up on a pinch point less than 100 yards from a good bedding area the camera here has shown lots of daylight Acton. We’ll just have to hope for the best
