a little to far to shoot! had bow, they stayed bout fifty yards away!
Got buckshot with me tonight. Suprizingly, we just might make it to dark thanks to granola bars and juice boxes. Don’t plan on shooting anything but he doesn’t need to know that.
One shot fired-one more doe down! Pictures to follow later! Yeah baby !!!

Back at it again. Haven’t been in a tree since Saturday night. I’m not going to lie it has been slow . but I’ve got the next 12 days off and I plan to make the best of it
time to get aggressive. I’m set up overlooking a standing corn plot dead center of my sanctuary . I slipped in and hung a stand last sunday.today on my way in there were 2 sets of human tracks over mine they did walk by 2 cameras so when I get home I’ll be able to see who it was
I think it is time to get a little more aggressive on your trespasser situation too! Never ends . Good luck tonight. I am back in our thickest swamp/bedding area overlooking what seems like a cattle trail! Hope it gets used tonight
this sanctuary is loaded with deer! all does so far good luck todd
Seen lots of deer on the drive here. Hope I can see the same from this tree!
Good luck Jigger keep us posted.we are doing mostly evening hunts but may have to some morning hunts also.

Well it’s raining now. This will be a hunt to remember …raining on new year’s!
I can not believe this is my last hunt of the year , not ready to quit but the law is the law. Sitting over a destination plot in a stand I have only been in once this year. Not too bad of weather but a chainsaw has been cutting 1/4 mile away for the last hour . Good luck to anyone else still out here!
Good luck todd! Remind me to buy heated arrows next year. They are All ice covered
This post is a little late It was just to cold and windy to post from the tree last night Top heavy and I were set up in Bc again last night, We both saw deer. Top heavy saw 2 does and I saw I small Buck and 3 does I waited for the biggest doe to turn and face downhill (towards my truck) at this time I had been holding my bow bare handed for about 30 minutes. I was so cold that I could not pull my bow back without raising it up for better leverage. what I didn’t realize was that there were 2 deer behind me and spotted me Game over. I will be back at it again for the the last weekend in bc. hopefully the outcome will be better
What a great night to be in a tree! January 4th probably 48 degrees. I really don’t even care if I see anything! It’s just awesome to be able to be out here! I don’t know why but there’s 4 new rubs in this valley
You’re the man Bob!!! You deserve a bruiser as much as anyone I know!
