First, that’s a hellava nice deer! Congrats on having him in your neck of the woods. I’d say 3 1/2yrs. He’s still got a straight back and his belly is not sagging>also does appear to have ‘greying’ on his face(like I do), but I still don’t think he goes 4yrs old. Score, being a 10, 152 4/8’s He looks very symmetrical and he’s not busted up from fighting (yet)…unless I knew of one bigger in my woods, he would NOT be granted any pass… him in my opinion….
It’s not too often that you get to see many 130-140″ 3.5 y/o but i think that’s what you have here This deer may be 4.5 y/o but his body and mass don’t quite measure up IMO I wouldn’t pass this deer
I agree very much with everyone on a 3-1/2 max. Though he has great genes, to I hope he gets a chance to contribute those to many does before he is taken. His inside spread is hard to judge between to two different angles. Guess 142 to 150????
I would agree with the rest, this is most likely a 3.5 year old. Id put him at 135-<145, most likely in the high 130’s to slim 140’s gross. He’s a real solid deer with great potential. I would like to see a straight on shot of him to solidify my score, but knowing SCMN, I’m pretty certain this is a 3.5 year old.
