Mock Scrapes/Licking Branch Question

I’ve been interested in putting in a mock scrape or two in front of one of my trail cameras, and was just wondering what everyone uses to get them started…I know wildlife research center has a kit…but I have heard that others have used evercalm scents in the stick form (I can’t find it anywhere any advice????

I start by just making a mock scrape without any scent. I put it in a noticeable area and wait until the 17-18 of Oct before doctoring it up with pre-rut and rut scents.

Or the other alternative is to put your camera over an existing scrape area then make your mock scraped based on the deer activity.

Evercalm on the licking branches and then take a leak in the scrape itself !

Mine are getting hit regularly right now
