A buck we call “Lightning”

    Here’s a buck we call “Lightning” because of his split G-2 on his left side. The first two pictures are from this year and pics 3,4 & 5 are from last year. He actually ended up breaking off his right main beam after his brow tine. Kind of interesting that he didn’t grow his G4 on his left side this year. I hope he finishes taller than last year.

    He’s a darn nice 8. So, have you picked THE deer yet this year?

    Hmmm…. Season is not open yet so I’m going to wait to make sure THE one is still alive. However, I do have two other really nice bucks on camera that I would be very proud to shoot.
