So I brought him down to the arcadia, Wi sportmans clubs antler expo last weekend not only to get him scored but to bring him down for everyone that had heard so much of him to finally see. My dad who finally got his monster buck unfortunately could not make it down due to work.
He shot this buck mid afternoon on opening day of rifle season. I heard him shoot or thought I did, I wasnt sure and knew I heard the fourwheeler head back to the house and he wasnt there it was everyone but him. I walked up to his area where he hunts to find him dragging this beast out. I had never been so excited for him in my entire life!
We thought he was the double drop tine that the neighbors had got so many trail camera pics of and also from all the rumors from around town of the buck running around just over our hill. We had never actually layed eyes on him during season, and olny once the year before in our corn feild. thought to be 6 1/2 yrs. When I skinned and butchered him for my dad I managed to pull out 6″ of carbon fiber arrow shaft out of the area just above the spine, and a muzzy 100gr broadhead out of its chest cavity. Both of these objects where completely healed into the body!
He ended up scoring 177 3/8.non-typical For sure my dads largest buck ever and the largest buck we have taken on our land in over 20yrs.
    So happy for ya’ dad!

The score doesn’t do this whitetail justice…
I was fortunate enough to meet Jack & his dad’s rack at the Arcadia Sportsman’s show. Jack is a class act and the rack sports endless character and beauty!
