Does anyone know about CWD in MN

    I think the testing is a fine. It’s doing it in the off season with the doe holding fawns that bugs me. They found 1 deer with it since last fall why didn’t they test the rest of the 2010 season?:p

    Let them test all they want. Just don’t do it now! make it mandatory to test all deer killed in this area during the 2011 season. then make a plan based on the results, instead of this knee jerk reaction that our DNR has done based on one deer

    Thats what I was thinking with only 1 deer found ….why now?

    Ya ,lets wait until it’s to late and the cwd is widespread. And then lets blame the DNR for not being proactive and doing nothing . Come on guys you have to accept the idea that they are trying to do something before it’s spring and the deer herds are really spread out.

    But this is what WI DNR tried to do too and look at where we are at with it!

    At the public input meeting last week in Pine Island. The Mn DNR made reference to Wi. waiting too long to do anything once they found the diease there. And maybe by not acting fast enough they couldnt keep it contained. According the the MN DNR.
