I have been looking around at different stores on prices for Snowshoe’s. Since most of Mn and Wi area’s I hunt have over 20″ of snow, I need a pair of these. I have been looking at prices and reviews and realized you get what you pay for. As of now, I found “Yukon Charlie’s Heritage Snowshoes” to be the best price and best reviews. Anyone else looking at Snowshoe’s?

Buy the best binding ya can get. That usually means the upper end of the price range. I have Tubbs. They are great! 30″ are best.

I sure could’ve used them on Wednesday when I went squirrel hunting. What a challenge without snowshoes… Thanks for doing the research – I’m looking forward to reading your reviews!

I ended up purchasing a pair of snowshoes from Cabela’s. The listed price was $159, Cabela’s sale price was 25% off them. So I ended up getting them for $119. They are the Atlas or Cabela’s brand. They are made up of aluminum with synthetic leather. I liked that these snowshoes only weigh 5.67 pounds.
