Getting awefully quiet and full of season recaps in here. Anyone else still grinding out the rest of the bow season or am I the only one trying to catch a cold out here?

Just need him to step out and end this two year wait

I will be as soon as this gun season is over in Iowa. We aren’t allowed to bow hunt during gun season here. I still got a buck tag and a doe archery and a late muzzy doe tag.

Yes they are slamming and I got a free pass next week from the wife!! I have a heavy trail under a climber tree less than 40 yards from where I park to the north but am not sure the climber will grip right at 20 or less! Any body have any pointers? Just hard to hunt with no buck tag left

    Hey Guys,
I’m still out there and trying to get my deer. I think right know it’s brown it’s down. The deer in my area are
really starting to group up and feed on beans and corn. I tell you what it’s pretty amazing the numbers of deer that
you see. It also shows you just about how bad the Buck to
Doe ratio is as there seems to by way too many does.

Sadly I’m done. Got family coming in next week and will spend most of this weekend preparing for their arrival.

I have a summit climber and have used it even when it was below zero. Works just as good as in warmer weather you got nothing to worry about.

I’ll be heading out this weekend to hopefully get some footage of a slick head going down. Got myself a new tripod and I’m dying to give it a run. I can’t wait for turkey season!

Ha, 38 does/fawns to 3 bucks tonight. Spike, fork, and 2 year old 8. I’d call that a pretty crappy ratio. You are right though, corn and beans are on fire and will be from here out. Good luck guys, I look forward to some pics when I get back from my weekend fishing trip.

Oats and chicory/rape/kale mix were getting also getting hit hard tonight for those of you without corn left

I wish I could get out, but unfortunately since the heavy snow storm the plows have barricaded my entrance so that I cant access the backroad I take to my property.

    Hey Guys,
I went out today and had slow evening in the Treestand.
I really liked my Lone Wolf Alpa Assault it’s really quiet in this cold weather my other stands like Big Game are loud
as hell this time a year. Maybe I’ll go out on Sunday but I’ve got to get going on my Christmas shopping.
