I passed 2 little bucks at last light and yes it was COLD. I did hear quite a few shots. So we weren’t the only stubborn ones out May have to bust out the heavy clothes for the next few nights

Had an awesome night tonight over a food plot, had a 145ish 9pt at 20 yrds waiting for him to come broadside and a coyote come through and scared all the deer out. Dont know if Ill make it out the rest of the muzzleloader season, so I guess he will just be that much nicer next year! Was definatly a cold sit though, 7 degrees this morning

I had ice hanging off of my eyelids and my fingers were freezing. Don’t think I will be sitting anymore in those temps. Especially with a bow. I need to buy a smoke pole one of these years.

Was out yesterday….damn deer were already in the field at 2:00p.m. Should of been in the ground blind earlier. It seems the colder the temp the earlier these deer are on their feet feeding in the food plots. Good luck to all!

Nice Pat I saw 6 tonight. One fawn bedded down about 40 yards from me and was walking funny. After shooting time was over, i went down and checked her bed and there were 3 drops of blood in it She ended up going back the same way she came from….good luck tracking that deer now
