    Just got to madison wi to crash for the night. Driving the rest of the way to clayton Il tomorrow morning to golden triangle outfitters. My wife and i had a colorado trip fall through so we booked this second gun season four day hunt. Should be exciting!

    Thanks! Not much sleep lastnight! Hope she can hold out for a good buck, she has shot a 130 in the up,but thats the only big one she has seen live.Im sure it will be all good either way! What am i saying,hope I can hold out! Weather looks good cant wait.

    The farm we are hunting is in Adams co. Sat 11 hrs yesterday, same again today if needed and thru sun. No shooters yet.lots of time left but just a little nervous! Nice country.

    Little late posting. The Mrs sat dark till dark all four days and didn’t see a shooter. Lots of does and small bucks. I hit a nice 140ish nine and just grazed it. Still kicking myself. 65 yards trotting through open corn field. I Hung off a tree all day all weekend,Long sits! Very well ran outfitter. Guides know their stuff and they keep it low pressure. Tracey and I and another couple had 600 a acres do ourselves. Some giants were shot while we were there. One gross booner. Shot or kill opportunity was around 75 %. Melissa bauchman was in camp all 4 days. Had a good time,blew my chance. Wish the Mrs could have at least seen a giant.
