Thanks boys, its been ruff season, a hit list that consisted of 17 bucks and not a sighting of a shooter all season! It will be a while for the pics I’m trying my hardest to get a buddy with 35 kills in 14 years of hunting…all antlerless, on a buck… go big or stay home baby!! This buck came thru his lane of our ground blind at mack 1 to get to the standing corn bean combo plot, poor fella!! 10 degrees with 40 mph gust here in Ottertail county tonite!! Snow would come in one window and fly out the other. We should make a reality show that transplant Texas hunters in MN!!

hey qdm4life-do you have the pictures yet??
I was out in otter tail county sunday-tuesday. Tuesday was absolutely brutal conditions. we slept in tuesday morning and stubled out for a few hours that afternoon. the deer were definetly moving with the cold, snow, wind, etc. I have had a similar season as you have. tons of close encounters with small bucks, but never a shot opportunity at a good one. I’ll be out again later next week, so hopefully the neighbors deer start filtering into all our food plots of beans, corn, and brassicas. The deer really seem to love those turnips this time of year!!
