Got together with some family and friends saturday to make our annual deer drive at my brother in laws farm. There is only one real small knob of woods that we drive and the rest is tall thick switchgrass and prairie grass fields. We have been doing this for six years and every year we always get a chance at one big buck. Last year I was on stand and I missed a real big buck. This year I was a driver and luck have it this guy decides to get up in front of me and take off and I was lucky enough to get one in him. We also kicked up three other smaller bucks and a couple of does. I never was a beleiver that the bucks would bed down in this grass until we started doing this drive every year. This was pretty satisfying after having missed a big one on this drive last year.
