they still had the barricades blocking the parking lot but they did have one pier in and the water is at a level where it would be good to launch.

If your a city of Hudson resident and have a sticker, it is 3.00 to launch. If your a non-city of Hudson but a Wisconsin resident it is 5.00. If your a non-Wisconsin resident it is 10.00.

which is a heck of a deal. I paid 15 bucks last week at Beanies for my 17′ boat. looking closer at the sign they are charging 25 bucks for anything 17′ and over. wow!

    I feel like I got a break. 25 bucks to launch a boat over 17′ !!

It went from $8.50 last year to $10.00 for non-residents?
    Is that confirmed?

    Suzuki,
I called the Hudson Park service yesterday before I posted. So unless the lady I spoke to didn’t know her head from her , I would expect that is correct.

I cant believe the increase. That will keep me from fishing the area much. I hardly fished it for $8.50 I just wont pay that when I have two yearly passes on the south end. Thanks for the info. Hope to hit the area with Sandbar tonight.

I was out yesterday and there is nothing going on the secret spot Mike. Wink, wink. Crawlers and minnows caught fish in several areas in 10-18 fow. The fish are starting to move to away from post spawn areas to more summer like locations. Caught some some nice eaters and tossed back a couple 19 and 20″ers to grow into big girls.

Don’t be too hasty with your decision. Hudson’s fees are probably still the best on the ‘Croix. The Boom Site above Stillwater is still free, but with very limited parking, and the St. Croix Bluffs Park-$25 annual fee are the only others that are cheaper. I’m beginning to take into consideration the cost of launch vs boat/truck travel (gasdiesel) expenses.- -jerr
