    The SD east river rifle season opened this morning. An old friend shot this buck on the farm I bowhunt.

    This deer is also from the farm I bow hunted a lot this fall. We have a video of him on trail camera. We would never have guessed him this big.

    These are from my cousin’s farm that I hope to hunt on Wednesday afternoon. They have a mix of mule deer and whitetail.

    Let’s just be happy these guys took pics. They are from SD you know, technology is not a strong suit.

    Two weekends ago, I was taking Jeff’s pic of this buck. He’s getting all impatient with me. I kept telling him to get it right. At least old friends can bicker at each other.
