What a long week so far

I will be in richland county in this log pile all day for the first 2 days.
(it’s a turkey picture but many bucks have taken their last breath here also)

I’ll be up in Danbury, WI, Dunn County.

Up hunting with the family. Hoping the couple bucks i’ve been targeting with stick and string can make it through the gun season. Unless they come past me of course.

Jackson county for the first 4 or 5 days then off the Price/Rusk counties for the rest of gun season. Good luck boys. Hopefully team 22 is about to get a boost in points!

Buffalo County near Fountain City.

Clark County for the weekend opener. Possibly Eau Claire County for the second weekend….depends on what we see during the opener. Be safe and good luck to all!

I built that about 8 or 9 yrs ago, it’s a funnel area, field about 60yds behind and a major cliff about 100 yds in front. I have had alot of close encounters there, last years earn a buck doe was shot between the camera location and the blind.

This year I will have a 30-30 tc pistol with me for any close encounters and my earn a buck sticker

I thinking (memory not so good) the total out of that blind so far is 5 bucks,6 does and 5 turkeys, between my uncle and I (he hunts it alot the rest of the week)

I can’t wait, just like a kid the week before christmas

I’ll be on the family farm in Trempeauleau County hunting with my family! I’m looking for another booner that’s been sited on our farm – “Buckzilla”! He’d be a great addition to this already unbelievable season with “Gravedigger”! Hopefully my dad will get him as he’s due!!!

Pepin County for me. Hopefully, celebrating Saturday with our group of hunters Good Luck to all hunters this weekend.

I’ll be in Pierce County just west of Beldenville 10 feet up in the ladderstand come Saturday morning. THen the rest of the season will be spent in Diamond Bluff on my grandpa’s farm. This year should be a good one!

I’ll be just west of Menomonie in Dunn County hoping that big 13 pointer walks by!

richland county with my youngest daughter and father in law, sure is nice this year going into the season with 2 buck tags in hand.

St. Croix County between Hudson and River Falls. Been watching a nice 8 and 10 all fall.

Can’t get out on the opener, but will get down to camp on Monday and Tuesday. Buffalo County near Cochrane.

Will have a buddy up from Ohio who started this opener tradition with Bob and I 8 years ago. He moved to Ohio about 5-6 years ago.

Speaking of the 4mile, that first year we made the mistake of going there on Friday night, with our hunting gear on. Didn’t see a deer all weekend.

No more waiting period to buy a lincse, they are also allowing scope on muzzle loaders this year.I’m heading to the shack in Lincoln Co. called the Newood hunting area.

A few hundred yards from the house the first few days, then some hunting at Narrow Gauge, Dunn, and Buffalo Counties. I have the week off!

wausaw wi hunting on my buddies 265 acres hopeing for the big guy to walk by. This is the 1 year anniversary of my Dads passing. I got to deer hunt with him opening weekend last year. Then he died the day befor thanksgiving. He didnt get to shoot a deer either. So Im going to sit in his stand opening morning with his trusty 30.06 and wack one for him. I miss him alot.
