Saw an add on Versus this morning for a mitt that fits over your boot to keep your feet warm but I cannot remember the name, I have a friend that has poor circulation and his feet get cold easily sitting on stand. I should have check out the web site right away.
Anyone else seen this add and know what the website is?

Not as bulky as that and I think it had mitts in the name.

Why not just use the stick on ‘Toasty Toes’ foot warmers inside the boots? They’re not quite a cure for cold feet but they help, and are cheap!

One of the reasons I stopped hunting was being cold and uncomfortable. My feet get cold all the time. Here was my solution which worked great. Once in your stand, take your boots off. Take some chemical hand warmers and put them in a pair of boot blankets. Then take your boots off and put your socked feet in the boot blankets. Sit and enjoy the day.

Chemical packets don’t work in your boots cause there is too little fresh air and they are too tight. Boot blankets don’t really help over boots either.

Ruger that sounds like a great idea ,I’llbe trying that on Sat. for our opener of deer season.

x2. I wore a regular pair of socks with some lightly insulated rubber boots while hunting all weekend and tried these out for the first time. Gander has em for 35 or 40 bucks and they’re worth every penny.

Gander of La Crosse only has the Icebreakers brand boot insulators, which are different and more expensive.

Anyone know of anywhere local to La crosse/Winona that carries the artic shield brand?
