Thanks again to Josh for putting me up for a couple nights. Thanks to Doug and Glen for putting on the tourney and letting us gomers fish it. Thanks Bobber and Tuck for cooking all the fish. You guys finally found something you are good at??

I’m already looking forward to next year.

Cooking for you big eaters is an experience to say the least! Did anyone get a picture of the “Dish ‘O Fish”?

Those crappies were fantastic! And those walleyes you guys got Thursday night (*Joke!*) were great too!

Note for next year, Keep certain people away from the beans and taco salads. You know who you are!

Josh, did you find your birthday present from Ritter yet?

Congrats to Bob and Koonce for taking second, it was some tough fishing and some tough weather conditions.

Kooty, no problem. I’m glad we all were able to keep out boots dry this weekend (except for the rain)!

Tuck, I’m sure I’ll find it next weekend while I’m fishing. I just hope it doesn’t smell too bad . Just as long as I don’t get the bad juju like you guys did last weekend

Thanks Big D for yet another fun tourney. Till next year…

First deer I’ve killled with a shotgun in a long time. I’ve been at it for a few weeks with bow and its been a frustrating year to say the least. I have had some close encounters with a couple other giants and didn’t close the deal.
So I bought the gun tag and went to an area where I can gun hunt. The hunts were very action packed seeing many bucks and alot of chasing. Three evenings in a row I used a doe decoy. On the third night I had multiple bucks come into the decoy in a field just perfect. The third one was the one I shot.
He is not exactly what I was hoping for but after a couple real tough years in the tree, I’m happy.
Main frame 10. Split G2 and split brow makes 12. On the each base is 1″ sticker as well. Spaded G2 on the other side. Pretty cool rack. Gross 138.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m totally happy with him. All I meant was that I had some bow encounters earlier with some bigger bucks and had set my sights higher. Nothing more than that.

I love it when a plan works out the way we envision it. Congrats on a great buck. From the little I know about your history, you deserve him. All the hard work paid off. Nice work!!!
