I have been hunting a lot and just started to see the deer. I have had trouble with other hunters also. I got permission to hunt on a spot by the owner. He said it was fine as long as the other guys are not hunting. So i got out about 1 this afternoon and no one was there so i started hunting then the other guys showed up at 4 and kicked some deer up and out on there way in. When i came out tonight they told me i had no right to be hunting here and that i shouldnt. They just started hunting and told me they were saving it 4 the rut???? Which started here a good week or 2 ago. What would you do in this situation? I have a feeling i should just mind my own business and keep hunting if there not there. I hope i can put i deer on the ground soon.

If it’s a good spot for late season i would maybe wait till after gun season to hunt it. If not, hunt it during the week and not on the weekends.

thanks for the replies i got a thursday and friday off of school so im going to hunt then. The late season stuff is a yes a will definitly be in there after rifle season. I would think that any good hunter would get into a spot before 4 when it gets dark at 5:30 and i see deer chasing at noon.
