After replacing a scope this season and seeing the ugly weather outside the window. I have a few scope care ?’s. What type of scope covers do all of you use? The only 2 types that I’ve found are the flip open type from Buttler Creek and the various Bikini types. Another ? I have is what do you use to clean / Anti fog the lens. I have used a lens pen by Nikon the last few years. It seems to do a good job. Just curious if there is somethung that may work better. Thanks in advance for all your responses. Best of luck to everyone this season. BE SAFE !!!

If you’re using a Leopold, I’d always go towards their own scope covers. They screw into the threads inside the scope itself and are bombproof. Not sure about the others.

As for anti-fog, I’ve been using a product I actually got free with the last Nikon I purchased. Not sure what it is, or what it’s called, but it’s a dry cloth that you literally just rub on the glass and fog is a thing of the past. Of course if it gets wet/dirty you need to reapply, but the stuff works!!!

I’ve got a Nikon and Redfield. I Really like the Nikon. The Redefield is new. It was for a backup lever action so I could not justify the Nikon cost. I sighted it in last weekend. It sure shot some really nice groups and is supper clear.
