Went out to check trail cams today after we finished quartering my buddies buck. Check one and on our way thru the apple orchard to the next one we see a buck we have dubbed Arrowhead at 10 yards. This was around 12:30 1:00 this afternoon. We got out of there and back to the house and it didn’t take me long to get into the shower and get ready to go out. I snuck thru the woods a different way to get to one of the stands and I could hear trees falling and cracking when I got there. I then tried rattling and grunting. I saw him again but no shot opportunity. Got out of there around 3 and went back to the house. Sure enough, can’t wait till the all day sit Friday when things have calmed and cooled down. Will have pictures of Arrowhead up soon.
