Here’s a short video of a good buck that we are tracking in Buffalo Cty., WI. He’s a main frame 8 with split G2s. Gobbler first got a pic of him in velvet and now we were able to capture him on video hard horned. He had a tumor or something on his neck which finally bursted and you can see it on the video draining out. He also appeared on a trail camera during shooting hours but I of course was in a different stand that evening.

I hope you enjoy the video!

Because he reminds me of former President Richard Nixon when he used to raise up his 2 fingers in each hand.

Yep – same property where I killed the wide one in my avatar. In fact, the one trail camera video is 75 yards away from where the wide one was arrowed.

“Nixon” is surely a dandy Buck! One wonders how he runs through the woods with such a wide rack. He’s only 1 of a few bucks on the Hit List.

Definately a fitting name! Hoping somebody from the crew has an encounter with him. Be strapped in for that guy forsure! Brad, how often do you get a negative reaction from the IR lights? I’ve been getting too many of those type of reactions.

Yes – I’ve been getting some negative reactions from the IR lights. Some bucks have even ran away hard. However, I’ve then seen the same bucks come right back to the exact same spot and I get them on video again. “Nixon” is cautious but I have a couple of more videos of him where he just looks at it, shakes his tail and continues on as usual. I think he’s getting used to it!
