Same deer, a year older?

Photos from this year and last year. Never hunted him much last year as he looked young to me then. Showed back up in the exact same spot a year later, assuming it’s the same deer. Hunted nearby Sunday night and had him at 70 yards but never came in for the shot…backed out quietly and have been keeping out of the area until muzzy opener this Saturday

I’m thinking they may be the same deer…I had a dozen or so pictures of him from last year, thinking this may be his core area. What do you guys think?

I would say yes….rack tendancies are way too similar to deny it…however by looking at the pictures he looks to have put on some weight…not to worry…

I am guessing he is planning on “burning” some of the extra pounds away during the rut.

He is a good looking deer!
