Are these worth it. I was thinking about purchasing one of these for my parents for their anniversary. With that still a few months off I might have to purchase early. Pros and Cons on these versus others

Either the Lowrance or the Garmin would make a great gift! Here’s a previous thread about the Garmin Nuvi 250W. That unit is VERY similar to the 200W that is available now in this forum. The Nuvi has been a very popular unit with great reviews. Either the Garmin or the Lowrance would make a great GPS for the car or truck. The Garmin has a larger screen at 4.3 inches versus 3.5 inches. The Lowrance unit will accept Lakemaster chips. Pick your poison but either of these will get the job done at a very affordable price.

We are not in the herd control units (thank god) so I’ll be out chasing Mr. Big. Looking forward to an all day sit Saturday! Good luck hammering those over populated does!

Ditto…the herd control ruined buck patterns every year with hunters bombarding bedding areas…not to mention decimating the deer population thank god that 60A is not in it this year.

Yep, going to try to get my son a crack at his first deer. We had a blast last weekend during the youth hunt even though we didn’t see any deer. Looks like this weekend will be more comfortable at least. Good luck everyone.
