    Wonder what he was focusing on….I witnessed a young guy hunting with me three years ago rattle an arrow through the rack of the nicest 8 point I’d ever seen. Never seen one stick in the rack though

    Just showed this to a co-worker. He told me a story when he was antelope hunting in SD. His buddy shot at a goat and stuck the arrow in it’s horn. A few days of so they stopped at a local cafe to have a bite to eat and over heard the local ranchers talking about the antelope running around with an arrow stuck in it’s horn.

    Never seen anything like that, but I have watched my uncle shoot at a 170+ whitetail and watch the deer completely duck with its belly on the ground at the shot…makes ya wonder…

    I picked up a set of sheds several years ago that had the tip and broken shaft of a Razorback 5 broadhead stuck in the main beam of one of the antlers. I was fortunate enough to kill the buck the following year at 3 1/2 years old. He grew over 50 inches of antler from the previous year. He’s still one of my favorite bucks I’ve taken.

    Thats pretty sad to me…and did the guy “launch” another arrow on the run? It looked like he was aiming to…

    I see guys coming to my shop on an all too regular basis that just shouldn’t be out there…can’t even hit the vitals in my Glendel buck at 15 yards…

    At least he didn’t gut shoot it…
