Anyone Planning on Hunting this warm spell?

I was planning on heading out the next two day, Im thinking its gunna be slow. well see

me and my dad went this morning one 8 pointer with a 16 inch spread came threw

One word if you plan on sitting during this warm spell.

They were up poundung the water @ 4:45pm yesterday. Saw 3 bucks and umpteen foes/fawns last night in these record temps. All came to water before heading to the plot!

Thursday near Fargo it was 81 according the the heavy chevy at 4 when we went into the stands, I went to a stand not sat in 2 years, its in a deep raveen where flood waters are drained off the farm land, dispite the heavy rains in late summer it was relativly dry, before even turning around in the stand I had deer coming in! 13 does funneled under the stand that night all heading out belly deep in the water and ALL eating aquadic vegitation!

Here where it gets good or bad, I dropped my buddy off a a set never hunted before and at about 6 a huge buck appears at a half mile away from my buddy, not even visable to the naked eye and proceeds to come in on a string to the tree!! At 25 yards my buddy let fly sending the arrow way over its back!!!! He owns 2 range finders, both were left in the truck because of the hot balming day he thought he would see nothing worth shooting at Needless to say thats called learning the hard way!! He claimes it was a 150 range buck

Leaving in about 10 mins…I hunted a stand on a field edge last night, had the sun on me most of the eve…it was tough but saw deer and didnt break a sweat…tonight should be a bit cooler and Im getting out of the sun…good luck

not going tonight but might go in the Am, im cooking for the girlfriend and the wind is bad
