I think after using many diff. brands of cameras it comes down to what you can afford and how you plan on using it. I have cuddeback, busnell/scout guard, regular scout gaurd, moultrie, wildview and a couple of other off brand cameras, One thing to remember is that the camera of today is much better than cameras that were built even a year ago. faster trigger speed, longer battery life etc. Here is an example I used to want only cuddebacks what i found was poor battery life, slow trigger speeds, they didn’t accept sd cards etc. so I went to moultrie and scout gaurd. Then last year my son bought a cuddeback capture, wow what a change from the cuddeback expert
This camera does it all! fast trigger acceptable battery life and great pics both day and night. I guess what I am trying to say is any new model year camera in the $125-$225 range will probably make you happy. I think you would be happy with either of the cameras that you asked about
(bushnell, scoutguard and covert are all made by the same company) All of these camera manufactures have made major improvements to keep us trail camera freaks happy
